Maldon Chocolates is an independent chocolate manufacturer and store. Our products are developed and created on-site by our owner & master chocolatier.
Our superb and extensive selection of the highest quality loose and packaged chocolates and bars, made right here on our premises, are complemented by our luxury range of ‘non-chocolate’ confectionery. You can find our own award-winning handmade fudge, liquorice from all over Europe, Italian nougat and real Turkish delight, among so much more.
As well as creating the most delicious treats, we also run interactive chocolate experiences, provide expert talks, supply bespoke gifts for weddings, parties, corporate functions, and much more.
With many years experience in the industry, we are passionate about all things chocolate, and love sharing our passion with our visitors.

About Us
Since opening to the sound of the local church choir singing Christmas Carols in 2015 Maldon Chocolates quickly established itself as a “must go to” amongst Maldon’s chocoholics. Proprietor Mike Simons set out to create a shop where you can purchase quality chocolate and confectionary for any occasion. Key to the shop’s success was the extensive range, one that could not be bettered anywhere in the local area.
With the growth of our brand and online store we have decided to relocate to a larger premises at 2 Poppyfields Retail Park in Snettisham.
Guided by the principles that made our Maldon shop such a success we have developed a smart, productive and welcoming space for lovers of luxury, hand-made confectionery everywhere. This new premises will allow us to greatly expand our plans for special events and courses on the art of fine confectionery making, while continuing to cater to our dedicated and growing customer base.
We have a great many plans for the future, including a wide range of new products and flavours, and we hope to establish ourselves as an integral part of the Snettisham community. We look forward to welcoming you.

Our Products
Loose Chocolates
At any one time we will have a selection of at least 35 different loose milk, dark and white chocolate types. Those not made on site are sourced from the finest Chocolatiers who use only the best ingredients to produce individual pieces of chocolate art! Known recipes such as Salted Caramel are joined with new twists on old ideas such as Maldon Rum, Rose & Violet creams, and Maldon Mints. In addition Mike continually seeks to bring new ideas with his own chocolate creations – Maldon Walnut, Maldon Squares or Maldon Crunch anyone?
Available individually or in beautifully presented selection boxes of various sizes.
Handmade Chocolate Bars
Made on-site using the finest Belgian chocolate and highest quality additional ingredients, locally-sourced where possible. These handmade bars have been developed by our master chocolatier, with more delicious creations being developed continually.

Figurines & Seasonal Products
Year round we have an ever changing range of milk and dark chocolate figures on display – each one individual and unique! Mike’s chocolate Ducks are going down a storm! So much so we've also added some friends; Bunnies, chickens, frogs, and even hippos! Hollow figurines made with the finest Belgian milk chocolate and decorated with cocoa butter and white chocolate, they're the perfect playful treat suitable all year round.
Of course at Easter we major in Eggs. We make all our Eggs in Milk and Dark Chocolate versions, many with an extra surprise inside. The shop speciality is the Luxury 3 Layer "Mega" Egg…The mould gets filled by hand three times to make a 600g chocolate egg, on a chocolate base, complimented with hand-picked loose chocolates and two bags
We also have our ever-popular year-round Maldon Eggs... Hollow milk chocolate with a praline-filled animal character hiding inside. Available individually or as a box of 6 presented in a quirky egg box, which ones will you get? An egg isn't just for Easter!
